You might notice it if you look closely at the right side of my desk.<\/p>\n<p>My hope is to finish going through the last 2ft of this in the next couple hours.  I don&#8217;t expect to succeed.<\/p>\n<p>See, many of the little bleached paper sheets here are also the articles and papers I kept from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.si.umich.edu\/\">grad school<\/a>.  But it&#8217;s time they either serve a new purpose or get to know <a href=\"http:\/\/www.recycleannarbor.org\/\">our local recycling program<\/a>.  Still, I like the topics and I keep getting drawn in.<\/p>\n<p>One of the papers that stopped me as I tried to let it go, was written by one of my professors at the school, &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.erpanet.org\/assessments\/show.php?id=1037194934&amp;t=1\">Understanding Electronic Incunabula: A Framework for Research on Electronic Records<\/a>&#8221;  by <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Margaret_Hedstrom\">Margaret Hedstrom<\/a>.  Not having known much about archives when I started at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.si.umich.edu\/\">SI<\/a> back in 1998, this was what alerted me to the awareness and forsight some were bringing to the archive field.  This brought on the respect for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.archivists.org\/\">archivists<\/a> that has only increased to this day.<\/p>\n<p>ok, back to culling the stack.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have some old paper material to deal with.
